Constitutional amendment: Governor's term of office (HJ 672)

Legislative Action Summary

Introducing a constitutional amendment to permit the Governor of Virginia to be re-elected and to serve two consecutive terms. Virginia is the only one of the 50 states not to allow its Governor to be re-elected. If we like our Governor, why not allow the voters to give him or her a second term?
